Stone Mountain and Fishing

Wednesday, I went up to Stone Mountain with some friends of mine. I had not been there in five plus years. I used to go with my family a lot, and we'd ride bikes and camp out. We got there and set our chairs out on the lawn, got some grub, and decided to hike up the mountain. It's only about a mile hike, but it's pretty gruesome. But it is a spectacular view from the top. Out of the 13 that went, seven of us made it to the top. We tried to take a picture with the self timer, but after four failed attempts, another man at the top was gracious enough to snap a picture for us. I do not have that picture, but hopefully I will later.
After the hike, we went back to the lawn and watched the laser show. It was entertaining and patriotic. I was surprised at the beginning that they didn't play the national anthem, but then they played it at the end. After hearing that song a lot of times, I only like the instrumental version. I can handle an a cappella version, but nothing sounds as good as just brass and drums. Just my opinion.

Yesterday Cam and I went fishing. I caught two, Cam none. On the way to his house, I hit 250,000 miles in the car that his parents have let me borrow. Only 1,000 or so are mine.
