Elmer, or as he is sometimes known, Mr. Opossum, is the opossum that lives around my house. He is a friendly little fellow. He just sits around and stares a lot. He likes to nibble on the cat's food. He also likes to scare Cam and I. Whenever Cam steps out on the front porch, he has me go out first to make sure that Elmer isn't out there. (and Cam makes fun of me for being afraid of bears) He is very sweet though. I stayed out late Friday night, and he was waiting for me right by the door.
It appears that one of the cats, or perhaps Elmer, got hold of this chipmunk, Chip, also known as Mr. Chipmunk. Well, at least they got hold of part of him. Cam wrote a little song about Chip:
"I'm a little chipmunk
short and stout
here is my top half
I'm not sure where the bottom's at"
